i guess no one said this would be easy

i tried to post a slideshow. but i guess you have to have one uploaded to picassa or something of that ilk. so i settled for merely uploading some individual pictures. but i don't have many on this computer. but it's a start.

sunday morning in beautiful oklahoma city. at noon it's already warmer than it's been for the past two days. could be a really nice day, in fact. if . . . the sooners win one more and make it to the final four. and if . . . one of my guys wins the martinsville race. or, if . . . i earn more points than hambone and mj.

oh, and only a couple of days til the start of baseball season. guess i should don my red sox attire. and less than two weeks til the start of our local dirt track racing season. this is a great time of the year.

post number two, number two, number two

i'm told that i can sometimes write some clever, yet interesting little blurbs. hence, it was suggested that i should build, if that's the proper term, a blog. now i've done that. but i feel so pressured to write something clever and/or interesting that i'm getting a headache. how about them red sox? no, that was a couple of years ago. i guess i could post saved copies of my electronic communications with delta airlines when they ruined my weekend. but no. it upsets my stomach to even think of that again. i can say that i have a new grandson. three weeks old now. he's very similar to my other two grandsons. all part of the same family. only he's smaller.

well, here goes nothing

i'm not entirely sure what a blog is. or what one is supposed to do, or is expected to do, with a blog. but i have had several people tell me i needed a blog, so here goes . . . . .

hmmm, nothing to say at the moment. need some inspiriation. maybe if i eat some ice cream. i'll be back.
